The protection of your personal data is important to us. We process your data in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data we process
When you send us an enquiry via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (name, email address, details of your business, message) in order to answer your enquiry. This data is not passed on to third parties without your consent.
Your Kwipps account and two-step sign-in
If you run a business on Kwipps, we process the details of your account (your name, email address, your business, your plan and billing) to provide the service and to keep your account secure. You can turn on two-step sign-in at my.kwipps.com › Account: after your password, we ask for a six-digit code, sent by email or by text message. For codes by text, we keep the mobile number you confirm with a first code. These codes are used only to sign you in.
Emails and text messages to guests
When a guest books with a business that uses Kwipps, that business is responsible for its guests' data, and we process it on the business's behalf to handle the booking: confirmations, changes, cancellations and reminders by email and, on the Tools, Business and Pro plans for restaurants and appointment businesses, the same messages by text. A text goes only to a guest who chose to receive texts when booking (the “text me” box); hotel guests receive emails only. The business is responsible for having its guests' consent to these messages, including for bookings it enters itself.
Cookies and analytics
kwipps.com uses cookies. The cookie consent banner lets you choose whether to allow analytics cookies (Google Tag Manager). Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the site, by collecting anonymized usage data; they are only set after you give your consent. You can change your choice at any time.
Hosting
This site is hosted on Vercel Inc. (United States). Vercel processes log data (such as IP addresses and request metadata) in order to operate and secure the service.
Service providers
We use these service providers, who process data on our behalf: Vercel Inc. (United States), which hosts this website; Google, through Google Tag Manager, only after you accept analytics cookies; and Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL (Luxembourg), through AWS End User Messaging SMS and Amazon SES, to send guests' and owners' transactional emails and text messages. Amazon processes these messages in its Europe (Zurich) region, eu-central-2; to reach a phone, a text is handed to the recipient's mobile network.
Purpose
Processing is carried out solely to answer your enquiry and to provide our services.
Retention
We keep your data only as long as necessary for the stated purpose or as required by statutory retention periods.
