September 2026

  1. ImprovedEveryone

One price list for every trade

Website, Business, Pro and Tools now mean the same for restaurants, hotels and every other business. Online payments, such as deposits and orders for collection, come with Business. The comparison below the plans shows one column per service.

  2. NewRestaurants

Diners pick a date on a calendar

Your website’s booking form now opens a calendar with closed days struck through. Once a day is chosen, it shows that day’s own times as buttons, grouped by your services, such as lunch and dinner.

  3. NewHotels

Guests choose their nights on a calendar

The booking form and the date bar open a calendar showing which nights are free and the lowest price per night. Full nights are struck through, and only departures that work can be picked. It works on phones and by keyboard.

  4. ImprovedHotels

The guest’s page speaks their language

Every message on a guest’s own booking page, including the answer after booking and the page for a link that no longer works, now appears in the guest’s language: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian or Portuguese.

  5. FixedHotels

    Clearer confirmations and bills

Confirming a stay with one tap from the email now starts the guest’s bill, and dates appear in the guest’s language. On a free preview no card deposit is asked for, and the guest’s page says so.

  6. FixedEveryoneRestaurants

    Published changes show at once

When you publish, your website shows the change straight away. “Book a table” buttons now lead to the booking form, and booking forms no longer offer dates in the past.

  7. ImprovedHotels

Booking where visitors look for it

Switching on bookings now adds a date bar under the top picture of your website and a “Book” link to every menu, in your site’s language, so visitors find it without scrolling.

  8. NewHotels

    Online check-in, QR-bill and TWINT

Guests can fill in the Meldeschein online before arriving. The tourist tax follows your age bands, invoices carry a Swiss QR-bill, online payments accept TWINT as well as cards, and the month’s bookkeeping comes out as a CSV by VAT rate.

  9. NewHotels

Run your hotel from the console

Today shows arrivals, departures, requests and housekeeping. Stays, Rooms, Rates, Guests and Policies hold the rest: a room chart, prices by day, extras, the bill with VAT, invoices, and the month’s figures for HESTA as a CSV.

  10. NewHotels

Room bookings on your own website

Guests request their dates on your website and the room is held for them. You confirm with one tap from the email, or switch on confirming at once when a room is free. A hotel API offers the same to your developer.

  11. NewHotels

Booking.com and Airbnb calendars by iCal

Nights booked on Booking.com or Airbnb close the same rooms on your website, and each room offers its own calendar back. It is availability only: prices and guest details are not sent.

  12. ImprovedRestaurantsHotels

kwipps.com: a section for each trade

The restaurant and hotel pages now each have their own bar: overview, tools, designs, pricing, API and questions. Each shows the designs that suit the trade, with a gallery of all of them.

  13. NewEveryone

    Reset a forgotten password yourself

“Forgotten your password?” on the console and my.kwipps.com sends a six-digit code by email. Enter it, choose a new password, and you are signed in; every other session is signed out.

  14. ImprovedEveryone

Contact forms in your page’s language

The contact form on your website, its labels and its thank-you line now follow the language of the page, in six languages, instead of always being in English.

  15. ImprovedEveryone

Dark-mode emails, and your current website on the form

Our emails now read clearly in dark mode. When you ask for a free demo, you can add your current website: we use its facts and wording, or treat it only as inspiration if you say so.

  16. NewRestaurants

Confirm at once, if you choose

A new option, off by default: a booking request is confirmed straight away when a free table can seat the party. Everything else stays a request for you to answer, and you are emailed either way.

  17. NewRestaurants

Follow-up emails and booking links on social media

If you switch it on, guests get an email after their visit inviting them to write about it on Google, with a one-click opt-out. Settings shows how to put your booking link on Facebook and Instagram, and Visitors adds a bookings report.

  18. NewRestaurants

Webhooks and staff actions in the restaurant API

Developers can now use secret keys for staff actions, and receive signed webhooks when bookings and orders change, sent again if delivery fails. The API works on a paid plan.

  19. NewRestaurants

A restaurant API and a booking widget

Your developer can read your venue, availability, menu and events, and send booking requests, with keys from Settings › Developers. A ready-made booking widget and full documentation are on kwipps.com. It works on a paid plan.

  20. NewRestaurants

Tools: the restaurant tools without a new website

Keep your own website and use Kwipps for bookings and the rest. Tools gives you a booking page of your own to link from your site and your Google Business Profile, with the steps to add it there.

  21. NewEveryone

Websites that ask before they count

Your website now loads nothing from other companies, asks visitors for consent in their language, and counts visits only after a yes. You see the figures in the console under Visitors.

  22. NewEveryone

Create email addresses on your own domain

In my.kwipps.com › Email you can add and remove addresses on your business’s domain, up to your plan’s allowance. Whoever gets the address sets its password; it never passes through us.

  23. NewEveryone

Your account and your console, each with one job

my.kwipps.com holds what you have: websites with a live preview, plan and billing, domains. You can choose a plan and buy a web address there. console.kwipps.com runs the business, and one login switches between your businesses.

  24. NewRestaurants

    kwipps.com/restaurants explains the restaurant tools

A new page shows what the restaurant tools do, with screens drawn from the product itself, in four languages. It describes only what is built.

  25. ImprovedEveryone

A calmer console and a setup guide

The console has a new look with a side rail. The setup guide walks you through four steps with a live preview beside the form, saves as you go, and takes your logo and, for a restaurant, your room and menu.

  26. NewRestaurants

    Orders for collection, paid online

Diners can order from your current menu on your website, pay online and collect at the counter. Prices always come from your menu, a dish off tonight is refused, and every message reaches the diner in the page’s language.

  27. ImprovedRestaurantsEveryone

Look up a wine, add menu photos, answer questions

The wine editor finds a wine by name and copies its label. Each dish has a Photo button to pick a picture or paste an address. Your website can also carry a questions-and-answers section.

  28. NewRestaurants

Waiting list, joined tables, deposits and staff logins

The restaurant console gained a waiting list, moving a booking, parties across joined tables, card deposits for large tables on a paid plan, merging and exporting guests, logins for managers, and taking a dish off for tonight.

  29. NewEveryone

Tools for salons, shops and professional practices

Beyond restaurants, the console now serves more trades: appointments with services, staff and reminders; products and an open-now notice for shops; a team page, documents and dated pages for professional practices.

  30. NewEveryone

Read your enquiries; publish when you are ready

Messages sent through your website’s forms now arrive in an inbox in your account, with spam held apart. Your changes stay drafts until you press Publish, so nothing goes public before you have looked.

  31. NewEveryone

Legal pages and link previews on every website

Every website now has a privacy policy and an imprint in its own language, under its country’s law. Each page also carries a description, title and picture that search engines and chat apps show when it is shared.

  32. NewEveryone

Contact details, a map and a contact form

Ask the editor for a contact strip (phone, WhatsApp, email and your social pages), a map of your address, or a contact form, and it builds them from your own business details, in your design’s style.

  33. NewRestaurants

Floor plan, tonight’s service and a guest book

Restaurants can draw their floor plan, run the evening from a live service view, keep a guest book, and join tables for larger parties.

  34. ImprovedEveryone

A hand-picked set of designs, built as chosen

The gallery now offers a smaller, hand-picked set of designs, each built as a page of its own. When you ask for a demo in one of them, your website is built from that design.

August 2026

  1. ImprovedEveryone

    Improve your demo by chatting

Instead of a fixed form, the demo editor now asks up to three short questions about your business, one at a time, then makes the change to your demo in one go.

  2. ImprovedEveryone

Designs suggested for your kind of business

The gallery and the request form ask what kind of business you run, in the same words. Suggestions now favour designs that can hold what you sell, such as a full menu for a pizzeria.

  3. ImprovedEveryone

Sign in with your email address

my.kwipps.com now accepts your email address as well as your account code. Our emails to you, from the first reply to going live, now carry the Kwipps look instead of plain text.

  4. NewEveryone

    Choose how your website looks

kwipps.com/templates lets you browse designs and pick a look. A chosen style now changes the typefaces, the paper colour and the header of your page, not just the accent colour.

  5. NewEveryone

    Your account at my.kwipps.com

Sign in from the link on kwipps.com to see your websites, billing, domains and account. Edits you ask for now go live in seconds instead of minutes.

  6. ImprovedEveryone

Turn any text into a link

Ask the editor to make your logo go back to the home page, or any other text become a link. The text keeps its look, without an underline or a colour change.

July 2026

  1. FixedEveryone

Contact forms deliver every message to you

Messages sent through your website’s contact form are now stored and emailed to you. Spam is filtered without a puzzle for your visitors, and the sender sees a thank-you page.

  2. NewEveryone

More pages, your own photos, photos behind text

Your site can have more than one page, built in the same design. Upload your own photographs, add a photo where the design had none, or set one behind a section’s text.

  3. NewEveryone

Add, move and remove sections by asking

The editor can now change a page’s structure: add a section such as opening hours or a price list, move it, or remove it. It also fixes links and swaps photos, and your site refreshes after each edit.

  4. NewEveryone

Change your own website by asking

After going live, you can change your texts, opening hours, prices and photos by writing what you want. Every change is kept in a history, so any of them can be undone.

  5. NewEveryone

    A new kwipps.com

kwipps.com has a new editorial design that shows what we build and how to ask for a free demo website.
