How do I put the booking form on my hotel's website?

Tick "Taking bookings on your website" under Console › Policies and save — Kwipps adds the booking form to your website and gives you a booking page to link from Google and elsewhere.

The booking form is part of your Kwipps website. One switch puts it there, and the same switch takes it away again.

Switch it on

Before you start, add at least one room type and its rooms under Console › Rooms, and fill in Console › Policies › Where bookings are sent, and the bill with a telephone number: the form is never shown without one.
In Console › Policies, tick Taking bookings on your website.
Press Save policies.
The console tells you what it did: the form is added to your home page with a date bar under the first picture, a booking link goes into the menu, and buttons that already said "book" now point at the form.

What guests see

Guests choose their dates on a calendar that shows which nights are free and the lowest price per night, then the number of adults and children (and the children's ages, for the tourist tax), a room type and a rate. They see the total with the tourist tax before they send it. Depending on your policies, the stay is booked at once or sent to you as a request.

Your own booking page

The same form also lives on a page of its own. Its address is shown next to the switch in Console › Policies, with a Copy button, and again under Console › Channels › Google. Switch it off

Untick Taking bookings on your website and press Save policies. Guests then see your telephone number instead of a form. Stays already booked are not touched.
