Signing in
- How do I sign in, and what if I forget my password?Sign in at console.kwipps.com or my.kwipps.com with your email address (or account code) and your password; "Forgotten your password?" emails you a six-digit code that lets you choose a new one. You can add a second step: a six-digit code by email or by text message.
- What is the difference between my.kwipps.com, the console and the editor?The console (console.kwipps.com) is where you run the business every day; my.kwipps.com is what you have with Kwipps — plan, domain, email addresses, logins; the editor, opened from my.kwipps.com, changes your website.
- How do I change my address, telephone number or opening hours?Under Console › Settings — name and address, how people reach you, opening hours and closed dates, links and the website's language; each section has its own Save, and your website changes straight away.
Your website
- How do I change my website?Open the editor from my.kwipps.com, write what you want changed in plain words, check the draft in the preview, and press Publish; every version is kept, so you can go back to any of them.
- Where do messages from my website's contact form arrive?In Console › Messages — everything sent through your website's contact form and every question about an event; we also email you each one, and you reply from your own email.
- How do I add my booking link to Google, Facebook and Instagram?Copy the address of your booking page under Console › Settings › Your booking page and paste it as the booking link on your Google Business Profile, your Facebook page and your Instagram profile.
Plans and billing
- Which plan do I need, and what does each one include?Website (CHF 14.99 a month) is the website alone; Business (CHF 24.99) adds your trade's tools and online payments; Pro (CHF 34.99) adds more logins, email addresses and changes; Tools (CHF 19.99) is the tools without a website. Tools, Business and Pro include 100 text messages a month to guests.
- How do I change or cancel my plan, and what happens to my website?Switch plans under my.kwipps.com › Plan and billing — the difference is on your next invoice; cancel from the Stripe page behind "Manage payment method and invoices", and your website stays live until the end of the month you paid for.
Domain and email
- Go live with your own domainChoose a plan in my.kwipps.com (or from the go-live link in your preview email), search for your address, pay once with Stripe, and we buy the domain, connect it to your website, create your first email address and email you when it is live.
- How do I create an email address on my domain?Under my.kwipps.com › Email, press "Add an address", choose the name before the @ and who it is for; they receive an invitation to choose their own password — Website includes 1 address, Business 3 and Pro 10.
Staff, privacy and figures
- How do I give a member of staff their own login?The owner adds them under my.kwipps.com › Account › Who can sign in; they get their own sign-in as a manager, who can run the console and change the website but not see billing, domains or who else can sign in.
- What does my website do about privacy and cookies?Your website loads nothing from other companies, asks visitors before counting them, sets no cookie for statistics, and has a legal notice and a privacy page written from your details in Settings.
- How do I see who visits my website?Open Visitors from the console's home screen — visitors, visits, page views, where they came from, countries and devices, for the visitors who said yes to statistics, counted without cookies.
