How do I take a phone booking, or move or cancel a stay?

Press New stay under Console › Stays for a phone or walk-in booking — it is confirmed at once; open any stay from the calendar to change its dates or room, or to cancel it.

Updated 27 September 2026

Console › Stays is your calendar: one row per room, fourteen nights at a time. Confirmed stays are solid, requests have a dashed outline, guests in the house are dark, and nights booked on another site or blocked by you are striped.

Take a booking at the desk or on the telephone

  1. Go to Console › Stays › New stay, or tap an empty night on a room's row to start one there.
  2. Fill in Check-in, Check-out, Adults, Children and, for the tourist tax, Their ages.
  3. Choose the Room type, the Rate plan and, if you know it, the Room — or leave it on Choose later.
  4. The quote shows the total with extras and tourist tax, and how many rooms of that type are free.
  5. Add the guest's Name, Email, Phone and Country (2 letters) — the country feeds your statistics.
  6. Under How it came, choose By telephone, Walk-in or Other. Leave Email the guest a confirmation ticked to send one.
  7. Press Take the stay. A stay you take yourself is confirmed at once.

Change the dates, the room or the guests

  1. Open the stay from Console › Stays (or from Console › Today).
  2. In The stay, change the dates, the number of guests, the room type, the rate plan or the room.
  3. Tick Keep the agreed price if the price should not change; otherwise it is worked out again for the new dates. Tick Email the guest the change to tell them.
  4. Press Save the change.

Cancel a stay, or mark a no-show

  1. Open the stay and press Cancel stay. If the guest has an email address you are asked whether to email them, and can add a line for them.
  2. If your cancellation rule allows a fee, the console tells you the amount — nothing is charged. Charge it yourself on The bill if you decide to.
  3. For a confirmed guest who never came, press No-show instead.
  4. A cancelled, declined or no-show stay can be brought back with Reinstate.
