How do I add charges and payments to a guest's bill?
Open the stay and use the Add line under The bill — a charge, a payment, a refund, an adjustment or tourist tax — and the balance due updates at once.
Updated 27 September 2026
Every stay has a bill that grows while the guest is with you. The nights, extras booked with the stay and the tourist tax are posted when the stay is confirmed or checked in; everything else you add yourself.
Add a line
- Open the stay from Console › Stays or Console › Today.
- Under Console › Stays › The bill › Add, choose A charge, A payment, A refund, An adjustment or Tourist tax.
- Write what it is for ("Minibar", "Parking", "Paid in cash", "TWINT at the desk"), the quantity and the amount each.
- For a charge, choose its VAT: Standard, Lodging, Reduced or None.
- Press Add. The balance due at the foot of the bill updates straight away.
To remove a line added by mistake, press the ✕ beside it.
At check-out
Press Check out under Console › Today › Leaving today. The balance is shown next to each leaving guest, in red while something is still due; checking out from the stay itself also tells you what is left to pay. Then issue the invoice — see How do I issue an invoice with a Swiss QR-bill?
