How do I run tonight's service in the console?
Console › Tonight is the evening on one screen — the covers, who is waiting on you, the list of bookings, and, once you have drawn your floor, the room with who sits where; drag a booking onto a table to seat it.

Tonight is where the evening is run, on a phone at the pass or a tablet at the door.
Read the evening
- Go to Console › Tonight. The top shows the covers confirmed, the bookings waiting on you, who is in the room now and the tables needing you.
- The chart How full the room is shows the evening hour by hour, with a dashed line for the tables you offer online. It is for your eyes only and never refuses a booking.
- The list below has every booking of the day, with the guest's note, where it came from (By phone, Walk-in, Booked at once) and how long a party has been seated.
Seat a party
- Once you have drawn your floor under Console › Floor, The room appears under the list, showing each table as free, booked, seated or needing clearing.
- Drag a booking by its grip onto a table, or choose the table on the booking's card. Tables that are pushed together on your plan are offered as a pair.
- Pick a table to act on it: Seat them now, They have left, Cleared and free, or They never sat here if you seated the wrong party.
A table that somebody else holds at that time is shown as taken, and the console refuses to give it twice — it tells you who has it and until when.
